Faux rock can be advantageous in the creation of a naturalistic looking waterfall, if done correctly.<\/p>\n

Advantageous due to the fact that sometimes space is limited and faux rock can appear to be larger than it really is but actually takes up less space than any real rock of the same size.<\/p>\n

What do I mean by “if done correctly”? well, for starters, correct composition or placement of the rocks in order to mimic nature comes to mind, proportion or ratio of small to medium to large sized cobbles, rocks and boulders also. Leaving sufficient space for plants to soften the “hard looking feel” of the rock is crucial.<\/p>\n

Correct coloration of the finished product will distinguish a true artist form a novice.<\/p>\n
